Fight Poverty & Put Money Back into Oregon families’ Pockets
Do you want to help low-income families get out of poverty? You can by volunteering with MFS CASH Oregon.
By providing free tax preparation services to help our clients access life-stabilizing tax credits designed for low-wage earners, MFS CASH Oregon volunteers help thousands of hard-working families substantially increase their tax refunds - and thus incomes - each year.
Off-Season Tax Preparation begins May 2, 2023 and goes until October 28, 2023, and we are seeking volunteers to help.
Not a tax expert? No problem! There are volunteer roles for all interests, plus MFS CASH Oregon provides training and ongoing support. To be a great volunteer, you just need to be:
- Compassionate and friendly
- Comfortable working with a diverse group of clients
- Willing to ask questions
- Willing to learn new skills
Virtual and in-person opportunities are available. Start volunteering any time. No minimum commitment during off-season tax preparation.
