Web Developer for Amazonian Ecolodge Project in Bolivia

About the Organization:

Founded in 2007, Sustainable Bolivia (SB) is a 501 (c) 3 international non-profit organization with conservation and sustainable development initiatives in the Bolivian Amazon.

In 2016, we helped secure protection for more than 20,000 hectares of rainforest, establishing the Aquicuana Reserve. Inside the Reserve we maintain a plant medicine retreat center, Pisatahua. 

SB is currently in need of a web-developer to update our existing Wordpress website (http://pisatahua.org).

Responsibilities

  • Work alongside Executive Director to implement consistent web page infrastructure and applications
  • Create and edit images and graphics for website use
  • Map and outline the website's structural content
  • Ensure that the website and all online publications are easily accessible
  • Recommend and implement new functionality

Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated experience
  • Working knowledge of PHP and HTML
  • Knowledge of SEO
  • Knowledge of Photoshop and creating/editing images for the Web
  • Ability to interact with a diverse range of people.
  • Spanish language skills (preferred)
