In rural Mexico, women are central to society but not supported. They are constrained by social and economic inequality, scant communication tools, human rights violations, and abandonment. Our work empowers indigenous women to lead change in their communities. Our goal is that women the leaders and businesswomen they are, and are seen by peers as having an impactful voice in their communities. This animated lesson, a story told from the point of view of one of our indigenous women partners, gives more context on our work.

We have divided this lesson into 10 trailers. Our animated videos have subtitles and we look to add subtitles to our trailers so they are accessible by both Spanish and English-speaking audiences. We seek for a volunteer that can help us with the subtitles.

If you want to make a real impact and help indigenous women to transform their lives and their communities, please contact Mariana Ramirez mariana.ramirez@psydeh.com
