Role 

Support marketing and promotion of Chill Center, Inc. programs through creating and implementing a sustainable social media strategy for our Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and YouTube platforms. This will help Chill Center, Inc. engage widely with diverse aspects of the communities of the greater Sacramento region to increase our positive and intentional impact.  

Duties and Responsibilities  

  • Create a DEIA-aligned strategy for social media outreach (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and YouTube), including targeted audiences including but not limited to youth, BIPOC, LGBTQ+, and gender expansive individuals, retirees, high school, college, and university students, etc.  
  • Implement strategy through posts on Facebooks, Instagram, LinkedIn, and YouTube 
  • Adhere to Chill’s Brand Guidelines in all posts 
  • Report to Marketing Operations Manager on a schedule you both determine  

Time Requirements: 5-10 hours per month 

Location: 100% virtual  

Desired Skills & Attributes: 

  • Proficiency in marketing through Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and YouTube platforms 
  • Social media strategy and content development experience  
  • Desire to make a positive impact in our community 
  • Alignment with Chill Sacramento vision and mission  
  • Must have persuasive written communication skills  
  • Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams  
  • Preferred bi-lingual (Spanish or other)  
  • Desire to participate in social activism and co-creating positive change in our Sacramento region  
  • Must have own computer or smartphone for accessing social media and Chill Sacramento’s shared drive
