 Role Overview 

 In this role, you will be responsible for oversight of our corporate and product marketing teams.

Essential Functions 

  • Leading the development, implementation and management of marketing strategy both for corporate and product marketing. 
  • Overseeing the positioning, strategy and development of marketing programs across channels, ensuring messaging is high-quality, reflects our voice, and represent the School Group brand.  
  • Identifying opportunities to translate organizational mission and goals into high-touch, cross-platform, data-driven global marketing opportunities across all platforms, both digital and experiential.  
  • Serving as the in-house expert on global marketing, directing team leads on day-to-day activities.  
  • Identifying industry trends and marketplace needs, cultivating new partnership prospects and conceiving innovative new marketing initiatives.  
  • Participating in cross-functional brainstorming sessions to evolve global marketing strategy conversations and build consensus.  
  • Overseeing all analyses, metrics, and reporting.

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism or English.  
  • Minimum 5-8 years of global marketing management experience in a nonprofit or corporate setting.  
  • Deep understanding of the global marketing landscape and trends.  
  • Experience leading the strategy for and managing a global marketing team, working cross-functionally with internal teams and stakeholders.  
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.  
  • Strong  writing, interpersonal, relationship-building and collaboration skills.   
  • Ability to successfully interface with senior-level internal stakeholders  


  • Experience working remotely as part of a team.   
  • Experience working in a start-up company, non-profit or entrepreneurial environment.  
  • Self-directed and disciplined with the ability to work independently in an ever-changing environment.

This is a volunteer position. There will be no financial compensation. Our organization is 100% volunteer-run. We welcome volunteers located anywhere in the world, as long as they can connect reliably to the internet.
