The Environment Project is recruiting for part-time/volunteer staff members to serve as a Media Content Producer for our communications department. Media content producers will primarily be responsible for analyzing and developing all Environment Project media content and productions. This will be done by working in a team environment to create and coordinate interesting media/video ideas to promote the Environment Project mission.
Utilizing free-lance software to source footage: Media content producers are responsible for researching and finding usable footage/audio for future projects. It is also important to be able to distinguish between different copyright terms.
Reporting to the Media Content Team Leader: All media content producers are expected to work closely with their team leader on video and other productions. This includes attending meetings to discuss plans as well as other interactive assignments.
Communications Sessions & Meetings: The communications department will meet together on a weekly basis to discuss upcoming events and engage in a group discussion. Furthermore, once a month, all staff are required to attend an hour-long general organization meeting. Attendance for both is mandatory, unless a valid excuse is provided.
