Website Operations Support

Pacific Northwest Glass Guild is looking for a conscientious, detail-oriented website operations support volunteer to assist in the maintenance of our website. The anticipated tasks would include:

• Periodically check for updates to WordPress core, themed and plug-ins, evaluate their stability to identify those that are appropriate to apply (how recent and whether there are major bugs reported against it), install, and check to verify that each update was successful.
• Troubleshoot with web-help volunteers if there is an identified issue that they are unable to remediate.
• Advise the Board about changes they are considering, to include estimating costs, time and training requirements.

We’re looking for someone:

• With demonstrated experience in on-going maintenance of an existing WordPress site.
• Knowledge of WooCommerce.
• Knowledge of Ultimate Member plug-ins is a plus.

Some coaching by the site’s creator is available.
