Camp Nurse

Hope of the Ozarks is a rustic summer camp that serves children of prisoners. Located in rural Missouri, campers are transported from surrounding counties and inner city St Louis for a week of camp.

The Camp Nurse is the one who administers first aid for the campers and staff, and administers camper medications. The Camp Nurse also checks camper’s physical condition on the arrival and departure of campers, and contacts parents when she deems it is necessary concerning injuries campers sustain at camp. In case of emergency, the Camp Nurse will call the Camp Doctor, and emergency personal (911).
