A Global Voice for Autism is seeking a volunteer to assist with our grants portfolio development and grant-writing process to support inclusive education programming in refugee and conflict-affected communities.

The Role:

We are seeking a volunteer to help us develop a portfolio of grant funders and to apply for grants to support our COVID-19 inclusive education programs. The volunteer will:

-Commit 5-10 hours per week to A Global Voice for Autism

-Research and identify a portfolio of funders aligned with the organization's mission and activities

-Engage in funder outreach and relationship development in collaboration with the A Global Voice for Autism core team volunteers

-Draft grant applications to target funders

-Collaborate with the organization's core volunteer team to develop a long-term grants funding strategy that supports the expansion to new communities

About Us:

Established in 2012, A Global Voice for Autism equips refugee and conflict-affected communities with the tools to support children on the autism spectrum and children with developmental disabilities in their classrooms, homes and communities. Through training, advocacy and education, we use an individualized, community-centered approach to respond to communities' unique inclusion needs. All of our programs are launched at the invitation of local partners and we work closely with these local partners to develop programs that are culturally relevant and community-driven. To date, we have served nearly 16,000 children, teachers and primary caregivers in thirteen communities worldwide.
