Be Oaktown PROUD by celebrating the 25th Annual Oakland Creek to Bay event in September 2020

Be Oaktown PROUD this September for a month of Oakland Creek to Bay watershed cleanup, education, and commitment! Learn, pledge, and act this September in fun, educational, and meaningful ways.

Individuals and households are invited to pitch in to clean up neighborhoods, parks and creeks, and to conserve and protect water at home. Take a pledge today at www.OaklandCreektoBay.org. Volunteers who take a pledge and report their actions will receive a Oakland Creek to Bay Day bandana displaying Oakland’s creeks, while supplies last.

Help improve the health of our local creeks, Lake Merritt and the San Francisco Bay.  Every water drop saved counts, and each pollutant and piece of trash prevented from entering our local waterways makes a difference. Water conservation and protection actions can save you money on your water bill and improve the health of your home by eliminating pollutants.

2020 marks the 25th year of Creek to Bay in Oakland, held in conjunction with California and International Coastal Cleanup. Although COVID-19 prevents us from gathering in groups like we’ve done for the last 24 years for Oakland Creek to Bay, our individual and household actions together add up to big impacts across our communities and beyond.

Pledge today at www.oaklandcreektobay.org
