    Description

Are you interested in making a difference in a childs life? The Christ Child Society is looking for volunteers to knit or crochet blankets for babies, to include in our layettes. The Layette program provides material assistance in the form of welcome kits, known as layettes. Each kit contains the essentials every newborn needs: onesies, sleepers, sleep sacks, diapers, baby wipes, children's books, community resources, educational material, and a handmade blanket. The handmade blankets are the most beloved part of the layette because they are truly gifts of love. We are accepting homemade knit or crochet blankets no smaller than 32x32 and no bigger than 36 x36. This volunteer opportunity has no time requirements and is done at your own convenience. Every stitch is a blessing.
