    Description

    Volunteer Opportunity: Hardware & AV Setup Assistant

    Organization: Black Men’s Health Clinic (BMHC)

    Location: Remote + Onsite (Optional/Occasional), Preference to be in the Austin area

    Time Commitment: 3-6 hours/month (event-based or flexible)

    Love fixing things or setting up gear? You’re in the right place.

    BMHC hosts events and programs that require strong tech support-and we’re seeking a hands-on volunteer to help with computer setup, printers, AV equipment, and general tech readiness.

    What You’ll Do:

    • Install and set up laptops, printers, and mobile devices
    • Support AV (projectors, mics, sound) for live events or trainings
    • Maintain and inventory tech equipment as needed

    Ideal Skills:

    • Hands-on experience with hardware, AV, or IT support
    • Comfortable lifting light equipment and troubleshooting on the go

    Impact: Help us run seamless health programs and events that empower communities across Central Texas.
