🌟 Volunteer with Beacon Hospice – Springfield Care Center
Bring Comfort, Care, and Connection to Those in Need
Beacon Hospice in Springfield is seeking compassionate volunteers to support patients with life-limiting illnesses. Whether you have a few hours a week or a special skill to share, your time can make a meaningful difference in someone’s life.
💜 Volunteer Roles Include:
- Friendly Visits – Provide companionship and emotional support.
- Vigil Presence – Offer comfort during a patient’s final hours.
- Creative Gifts – Design memory posters.
- Healing Arts – Share music, Reiki, or pet therapy to soothe and uplift.
- Veteran Support – Veterans connecting with fellow veterans and assisting in pinning ceremonies.
🎓 Training & Support
All volunteers receive free local training at the Springfield care center, covering:
- The philosophy of hospice care
- How to support patients and families with empathy and respect
👥 Group Volunteering
- Group Size: 1 to 50+
- Location: Beacon Hospice – Springfield Care Center
- Donation Requirement: None
