We are looking for a creative Social Media Intern to manage our social media pages. The Social Media Intern is responsible for planning social media calendars, creating social media posts, and assisting the team with brainstorming campaigns. To be successful as a Social Media Intern you must have excellent knowledge of various social media platforms. A good Social Media Intern combines creative campaign ideas with analytical skills to create successful posts.


The Social Media Intern will be responsible for the following: 

1. Update Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, and Instagram accounts. 

2. Schedule timely campaigns across all platforms in line with current events and coordinate with other interns. 

3. Support in planning a social media campaign and its execution to gain more reach and followers. 

4. Assist in promoting content. 

5. Assist in monitoring and replying to Tweets, comments, messages from followers, under supervision of the… 

8. Assist in growing CCID in Cameroonian social networks by increasing interactions. 

9. Assist in publishing, posting and updating content to the website. 

11. Plan posts related to the Human Rights Calendar. 

12. Help amplify content through other social media channels (ministries, UN agencies, etc.). 

13. Research articles, stories, resources, or other content that is relevant to our communities. 

14. Assist with the design or design social media posts. 

15. Write engaging captions. 

 

Qualifications: 

University degree in graphic design, communications, or any related field. 

Fluency in English is mandatory. Fluency in French is highly desirable but not mandatory 

Previous experience in managing social media accounts is desirable.
