As a member of the Core Management Team, the Volunteer Resources Managers oversees the HR function of Science Borealis including but not limited to recruitment, on-boarding, volunteer relations, volunteer information management and off-boarding.
Responsibilities
· Manage the full cycle recruitment process
· Manage the on-boarding and off-boarding process
· Maintain and track volunteer information
· Develop and maintain HR policies and procedures
· Develop a volunteer recognition program
· Manage the volunteer@scienceborealis.ca email account
· Support the Core Team in developing and implementing the HR strategy of the organization
Qualifications/Requirements
· Post secondary education in Human Resources or Volunteer Management
· At least two years experience in human resources and/or volunteer management
· Experience recruiting for volunteers is preferred
· Excellent communication, collaboration and organizational skills
· Experience using Dropbox, Slack, Google suite
· Ability to attend monthly team meetings the third Wednesday of every month at 4pmET
