    Description

Bereavement Volunteer - Support Those in Need!!

Our bereaved clients NEED your light of compassion and your willingness to listen. Be someone's light, Become a Berevement Volunteer!

As a bereavement volunteer, you will call to check in on families, send out cards, and participate in annual Memorial Services. Your compassion will help remind families that support is still available.

Bereavement training will be provided as well as shadowing opportunities. We will train you to access the needs, responses, coping skills and support systems of our clients so that you can ensure that we are taking care of their bereavement needs.

Bereavement support is a great opportunity for members of the human services field to grow and strengthen their skills as providers and clinicians.

Our Bereavement Team supports our patient's family for 13 months following the patient's death.
