    Description

    Our Vet-to-Vet program strives to match a hospice patient who is a Veteran with a volunteer who is also a Veteran, or active military personnel. Offer your gifts of compassionate listening and grateful acknowledgement when it is needed most! Comprehensive training is offered and can be suited to meet the your scheduling needs. Only 2-4 hours per month can make a world of difference to someone who would be otherwise alone.

    Heartland Hospice of Reading, PA is a Level 5 participant in the national We Honor Veterans program. Learn how you can join us to better support Veterans in our community, especially at End-of-Life.
