Fundraising

Amara Board Members will consider Amara a philanthropic priority and make annual gifts that reflect that priority. In order for Amara to credibly solicit contributions from foundations, organizations, and individuals, Amara expects to have 100 percent of Board Members make an annual contribution towards their “Give or Get”.

Amara Board Members will make it a top priority to solicit donations from their network, in order to assist with funding Amara’s programs. Board members are expected to attend Amara's annual No Show Ball, and other fundraising events.
