Lead a Virtual Tour

HI USA is looking for volunteers to create and facilitate a virtual tour of your city or town to share with fellow travelers from around the county.

We normally have in person tours in the cities where we have hostels, but due to covid we are hosting virtual tours. Two major perks of virtual tours is that anyone from anywhere can join and we can explore areas where we do not have hostels!

We provide instructions on how to create the tour and most of them are Power Point based.

We host all programs on either Tuesdays OR Thursdays at 4:30 pm pacific/6:30 pm central/7:30 pm eastern. Our goal is for all programs to be 1 hour. We are booking dates into summer 2021.

Tours can have a historial twist, food twist, architectural twist, etc. We would love to learn from you and your area of expertise on your city or town.

If you would like to attend a tour or other programming prior to volunteering please check out our Eventbrite calendar here: https://www.eventbrite.com/o/hi-usa-30268700044

About HI USA: For more than 80 years, HI USA has been the country’s leading hostel brand. Our fun and affordable hostels are located in top cities and unique destinations: think converted mansions, reinvented lighthouses, beach communities and national parks. We bring travelers together locally and from around the world, and that’s just the start. From local tours and curated travel experiences to events and experiential learning programs, HI USA strives to bring moments of cultural enrichment & understanding to everyone who stays with us or joins one of our events. We believe in the power of travel to foster a deeper understanding of people, places, and the world around - in fact, it’s our nonprofit mission. www.hiusa.org
