    Description

We are looking for some volunteers to help us by driving their personal vehicles to pick up donations that some local grocery stores prepare for us and drop off the donations at our location. Most of these donations are perishable food items such as bread, deli, salads, meats. Most of these stores the volunteer will pick up in the morning before noon. There are two stores that require an evening pickup. The stores are located on the border of Cary and Raleigh, mainly in Cary. These pick ups are a weekly commitment. We are also building a team of volunteers who would be trained to help with this, but are on standby in case someone is out sick or on vacation.

It will be required that interested volunteers attend our Volunteer Orientation.
