Whether you like to listen to stories, hold a hand, walk a dog, play games, send cards, play a musical instrument, have a certified pet therapy dog, or just want to help with office administrative tasks then Valir Hospice has a spot for you!!
Hospice Volunteers are ordinary people with extraordinary hearts. They understand how precious life is to those facing a terminal illness and how important it is for patients and their loved ones to live life to the fullest. The little "extra" the volunteer gives in performing a task, offering love and compassion, or just listening makes a big difference. The extraordinary thing, though, is what volunteers get in return for their time is a gift that enhances their own lives.
