Human Resources Coordinator

Those who hold the position of “HR Coordinator” shall perform duties as described in this document as well as meet the majority of the listed qualifications.

Qualifications:

1. Strong decision-making and problem solving skills.
2. Ability to learn and develop human resources processes and best practices.
3. Strong ability in using Google Suite.
4. Ability to learn sourcing tools, like resume databases and online communities.
5. Ability to learn social media recruiting.
6. Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
7. Ability to handle data with confidentiality.
8. Good organizational and time management skills
9. Excellent attention to detail.
10. Works well under pressure and meets tight deadlines.

Duties:

1. Assist with all internal and external HR related inquiries or requests.
2. Processes mail.
3. Maintain the membership activity program.
4. Maintain all copies of volunteers' records.
5. Prepares new-employee files.
6. Assist with the recruitment and onboarding process.
7. Assist with performance management procedures.
8. Produce and submit reports on general HR activity.
9. Assists with processing of terminations and promotions.
10. Liaise with other departments or functions (training and compliance, information systems marketing, etc).
11. Provide process feedback and improvement recommendations to management.
12. Perform other tasks as assigned.

Work Hours:

We are expecting the individual who holds this position to contribute up to 5.0 hours a week. Depending on the demand of the tasks assigned to the volunteer, they may work less or more occasionally. The manager assigned to the volunteer will work to make reasonable accommodations to this arrangement so long as the volunteer is fulfilling the duties of this position. The volunteer may work more hours at certain time to meet project goals.
