Our vibrant volunteers come from a variety of backgrounds, bringing their passion and talent to Willamette Humane Society. From working in the kennels, to supporting the clinic and adoption teams, to helping in our downtown Thrift Store, there’s a place for you here.
WHS is proud to share we are recruiting new volunteers. Due to COVID, all orientation sessions and volunteer applications are done digitally.
Current Opportunities As of December 2020, we are currently recruiting for volunteers who can help in the following positions at Willamette Humane Society.
- Adoption Support Volunteers
- Animal Welfare Assistants
- Dog Handlers
- Enrichment Volunteers
- Meow Town Volunteers
- Spay & Neuter Clinic Assistants
- Thrift Store Volunteers

How to Apply
Volunteers are asked to commit to six (6) months of service. Volunteers are also asked to commit to an average of 3-4 shifts per month.
