Our organization is in search of a marketing specialist or student who can help us with the promotion of our language-school Juntucha and our small-scale agency Beyond South America, that facilitates internships and voluntary work!
About Casa de la Alegría
Casa de la Alegría is a young, enthusiastic organization which helps youth in Cochabamba, Bolivia, become more self-reliant. This we do by allowing for, and through the encouragement of, the development of socio-emotional skills among children. Control of aggression, the build out of self-confidence, and the stimulating of self-reliance are but some of the matters with which we deal. Our passion lies in cooperation for the achievement of development, and our vision is that developmental projects ought to be a fitted response to a demand from within communities. Hence, we work with, rather than just for our target group.
We are a small foundation with big dreams, and to make these dreams a reality we are in constant search of possibilities to make our foundation more efficient. In this quest, we are always open to partnerships through which new target groups may be addressed. One of such ways to make our organization more efficient has been through the creation of the language school. Besides this we took over the small-scale agency 6 months ago. The language school Juntucha and the small-scale agency Beyond South America offers a source of income which gives the foundation a boost in its own self-reliance.
Are you that person who knows how to put our organization on the map, both online and offline, for the outer-world to see? We are looking for someone with an innovative and proactive approach in spotting chances and utilizing them to the fullest; somebody with the expertise and ability to give Juntucha and Beyond South America greater recognition, and somebody who uses that recognition to assure the continuation of the foundation along with our fundraisers. Next to the general promotion of the organizations, we request of a marketing specialist that s/he can develop new marketing strategies for those projects which financially support our organizations.
· Experience in, or affinity with, marketing and/or promotion;
· Enthusiasm for the attainment of our organization’s cause;
· Ability to suggest and set forth new ideas;
· A professional and proactive attitude.
What we can offer you
The opportunity of being involved in a young organization, and to play a valuable role in the realization of our organization’s goals. Of course, we shall offer you some guidance to the fulfillment of your tasks. Also, you will receive the freedom to put forth suggestions and to make them a reality. This position concerns a temporary project for which the exact duration depends on your plans, and will be discussed later in time.
