Idealist Day 6/6/26 - Habitat for Humanity North Central CT - Bloomfield ReStore Service

Habitat for Humanity of North Central CT is inviting volunteers from the Idealist Community to support the upcoming Idealist ReStore Service Day on 6/6/2026.

What is the ReStore?

Our ReStore is a donation and home improvement center that accepts new and lightly used household goods, appliances, and home improvement products. Open to the public to both shop and to donate, all proceeds from the sale of goods at our ReStore, directly support affordable homeownership opportunities throughout the Greater Hartford and Tolland County Communities.

What will volunteers do in service?

We are seeking volunteers to help us offload donation trucks, consolidate inventory in our warehouse, and generally support operations on our sales floor. This opportunity supports donation processing, organziation, and display setup at our Bloomfield ReStore location.

Age Requirement: Volunteers must be at least 16 years of age to join us, and for every (4) youth under the age of 18, (1) chaperone 21+ is required to attend and volunteer with youth participants.
