Digital Marketing and Communications Team -- Clean Energy

In this particular role, you’ll be helping us build a powerful campaign that will combat climate change, make our communities healthier, and connect you to awesome people!

About the Role:

You will work with a team to build momentum around our campaign issues through email marketing, social media, content creation, and community management.

Possible duties include:

  • Building email automations
  • Write newsletter emails and SMS marketing message campaigns
  • Collaborate with our organizers to plan campaigns and build community

What we’re looking for:

  • Someone who can commit to working 1-2 hours per week on projects and will also attend biweekly meetings as applicable
  • Strong writing skills
  • Comfortable working in Google Apps (Docs, Sheets, etc)
  • Knowledge of email marketing platforms (Mailchimp) and social media platforms and campaign planning tools is a plus, though not a requirement.
  • Positive Attitude: enthusiastic and able to contribute at any given stage throughout the process; actively takes the lead on a given task and can pitch in wherever help is needed.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; able to confidently express ideas and also knows when to listen.
