Community-based and site-based mentoring opportunities are available. Caring, concerned adult role models are paired with youth who will benefit from additional support. By sharing fun activities and exposing a youth to new experiences, a mentor encourages positive choices, promotes high self-esteem, supports academic achievement and introduces the youth to new ideas. Mentors commit to spending a minimum of one hour per week over the course of one year. LUK mentors complete a thorough screening process which includes an interview, background checks and mentor training.

Site base mentoring is offered at Plumley Village in Worcester on Thursdays 3:00 - 4:00 PM and 4:00 - 5:00 PM. A new program will begin at Vernon Hill School in Worcester for grades 2-5 on 1/4/2022 on Tuesdays from 2:45 - 3:45 PM during the school year.

CDC, agency and site guidelines are in place for all programming.
