Patient Visitor Volunteer
Our hospice is looking for friendly volunteers to provide companionship & socialization to our patients at home in Chatham & surrounding counties. Some caregivers of patients could use a break to run errands for an hour or 2 - we also need volunteers for this. Volunteers must wear PPE for visits and will be provided basic PPE if they don't have their own. Volunteers also must socially distance during visits. Covid-19 has left many of our patients in need of friendly interactions - please come make a positive difference in the lives of those we serve!

Volunteer opportunities occur in patients' homes. Patients live in Chatham, Effingham, Bryan, & Liberty Counties.
How to Apply
Once you reach out to me I will email you the application & onboarding paperwork. We require a background check (which we complete for you), a drug screen (I will give you instructions on where to go), and a negative TB skin test which our nurses can give to you.
