Whether your dream is to watch basking Gharial/Marsh crocodiles, to splash with an elephant in a jungle river, to stroll in the medieval streets of Kathmandu or to relax on a boat in Fewa Lake with mirror images of Annapurna Himalayan ranges – we can make it real.

Where will you be going?

The volunteer and trek program starts in the Kathmandu Valley, with its UNESCO World Cultural Heritage Site cities of Kathmandu, Patan and Bhaktapur. From there the journey heads north to the fantastic Lake City of Pokhara and then takes you into the mountains for a magnificent trek. Your cultural journey through Nepal is enriched by opportunities to volunteer at one or more of Volunteer Society Nepal’s projects across the country: teaching English, sports, or IT in schools; working in an orphanage, helping the children with intellectual disabilities at its care centre, or with women’s groups, or taking part in the construction.
