Support young parents in college by volunteering with Generation Hope!

Generation Hope helps teen parents graduate college through one-on-one mentoring, tuition assistance, and case management while at the same time helping their children prepare for school success. On June 4th - June 5th, Generation Hope will be holding its annual Hope Conference in person for the first time since the beginning of the pandemic. At the conference, Generation Hope Scholars (all teen parents attending college) have the opportunity to attend workshops on a variety of topics including professional skills, healthy relationships, parenting, and more. While they attend workshops, we rely on caring volunteers to provide on-site childcare for their little ones. Fun, safe, educational childcare is an essential part of making this event work, and we couldn't do it without childcare volunteers!

On Saturday, June 4th the events will be taking place at Bar-T Summer Camp in Frederick, MD and on Sunday, June 5th the events will be taking place at Clarion Inn in Frederick, MD. All volunteers must complete an online background check, a 1-hour training webinar, and submit proof of COVID-19 vaccination.
