    Description

    Volunteers are needed to help in our hospice house.

    Onboarding Requirements

    At this time our volunteer orientation for most roles is through a self-paced, all-digital format.

    Volunteer interviews may be conducted virtually or in person, but there will be an opportunity to visit and get to know your volunteer coordinator during your onboarding process.

    Onboarding Requirements:

    • Virtual volunteer training (approximately 12 hours of self-guided volunteer training)
    • KC Hospice volunteer onboarding powerpoint (1 hr)
    • TB skin test (provided by KC Hospice at either Meritas Health or KU Medical Center)
    • Series of background checks
    • Drivers Licence
    • Auto Insurance
    • Additional KCH&PC paperwork (i.e. volunteer agreement)
    • Interview with a volunteer coordinator
    • Job-specific training as needed
