About Us:
International Transformation Foundation (ITF) is a nonprofit dedicated to empowering young people and fostering sustainable water resource development. About the Opportunity:
As a Grant Writer in the Fundraising department of ITF, you'll support impactful projects in the International Development and Charity fields. This role offers valuable experience in nonprofit development, persuasive writing, and project management while contributing to initiatives that improve access to clean water and empower communities. Please note that this is a remote position.
What you'll be doing:
- Research and identify grant opportunities from government agencies, foundations, corporations, and other funding sources.
- Develop, write, and submit compelling grant proposals, letters of inquiry, and funding applications.
- Collaborate with program staff, leadership, and stakeholders to gather information and define project goals, budgets, and outcomes.
- Prepare detailed grant budgets and budget narratives in coordination with finance personnel.
- Ensure all grant applications comply with funder guidelines, deadlines, and submission requirements.
- Maintain a grants calendar and track proposal deadlines, reporting requirements, and funding cycles.
- Manage and organize grant-related documentation, records, and supporting materials.
- Monitor awarded grants to ensure compliance with funding requirements and organizational policies.
- Prepare and submit grant reports, progress updates, and other required documentation to funders.
- Collect, analyze, and present program data to demonstrate impact and support funding requests.
- Build and maintain relationships with funding organizations, program officers, and community partners.
- Conduct prospect research to identify new funding sources and partnership opportunities.
- Track grant outcomes and assist with evaluating program effectiveness and funding impact.
- Stay informed about trends, regulations, and best practices in grant funding and nonprofit development.
- Work with cross-functional teams to align funding opportunities with organizational priorities.
- Maintain accurate records of submissions, awards, rejections, and funding history.
