Description

You’ll drive the development of our community of practice on the ground and bridge the gap between international human rights institutions and grassroots movements. Specifically, you’ll manage our social media channels, design promotional content for our blog and digital resource library, and build user engagement with our platform. You’ll also provide operational and administrative support in core areas that will give you opportunities for skills development.

In this role, you’ll strengthen your research and analytical skills, deepen your understanding of civil resistance in human rights, and contribute to the defense of human rights. Your role will help human rights defenders advance their movements under international law and amplify their impact within the human rights sector.

As with all of our positions, this role is volunteer-based and unpaid. The HRC team works remotely and members are required to attend scheduled team and 1-1 meetings. Candidates must work independently, take initiative and pursue creative approaches to problem solving. Candidates must be willing to work between 5-10 hours per week.
