Would you or someone you know like to volunteer at a virtual summer camp for transgender and gender-diverse youth? Do you know someone aged 12-17 who might like to go to camp? We had so much fun at virtual camp 2020, we decided to offer two weeks this summer, (June 27th - July 2nd AND July 11th - 16th, 2021). Join us for s’mores, crafts, open mic, games, new friends, support, and more. We are based out of Ohio (EST) and we have a community on Discord. You don't have to volunteer the whole week, you don't have to live in Ohio, you don't have to be trans to volunteer, and you can stay in the "cabin" if you would rather not lead an activity.
In its five years of operation, Camp Lilac has organized many different activities year-round, including benefit concerts, community meals, clothing and hygiene supply drives, and other opportunities to bring our underserved community together.
Although Northeast Ohio is our organization’s home, Camp Lilac is open to youth nationwide. We have had applicants from nearly all 50 states, and campers traveled as far as 1200 miles to attend our last in-person camp.
If you have any questions, please visit our website or write to email@example.com.
