Qualifications:

  1. Ability to think critically about problems, troubleshoot and solve problems independently
  2. Excellent attention to detail and follow-up skills
  3. Strong oral and written communication skills
  4. Tech savvy with familiarity on all social media platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter
  5. Strong writing, editing, and visual skills
  6. Ability to meet deadlines

Duties:

  1. Manage and design website content
  2. Proactively prepare, edit, and disseminate press releases for positive feedback regarding Operation Hammond
  3. Create traffic to the company’s website to grow Operation Hammond’s online presence
  4. Monitor messaging and audience responses regarding OH’s social media presence
  5. Ensure brand image of Operation Hammond is properly represented
  6. Meet and provide reports as instructed by management
  7. Assist management in setting department goals
  8. Manage the goals and productivity of assigned volunteers
  9. Work with others to manage Operation Hammond’s upcoming e-commerce
  10. Ensure the Marketing Department is assisting with other department requests where appropriate
  11. Assist senior management in composing project plans
  12. Complete other tasks as instructed by management in a timely manner

Work Hours:

We are expecting the individual who holds this position to contribute up to [5] hours a week. Depending on the demand of the tasks assigned to the volunteer, they may work less or more occasionally. The manager assigned to the volunteer will work to make reasonable accommodations to this arrangement so long as the volunteer is fulfilling the duties of this position. The volunteer may work more hours at certain time to meet project goals.
