HR Assistant for Virtual Nonprofit
Job Summary:
The Human Resource Assistant will perform administrative tasks, conduct telephone interviews, and support effective and efficient operations of the organization.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Conducts Telephone interviews with prospective volunteers.
Conducts or assists with the new volunteer orientation.
Maintains accurate and up-to-date human resource files, records, and documents.
Answers frequently asked questions from applicants and current volunteers relative to policies but refers more complex questions to Executive staff.
Maintains confidentiality and integrity of human resource files and records.
Provides clerical support to the Executive staff.
Qualifications:
Excellent verbal, phone, and written skills
Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to manage sensitive and confidential situations with professionalism, tact, and diplomacy
Excellent organization skills and attention to detail
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
