    Hospice Volunteers Needed!

    Do you feel the call to enrich the lives of hospice patients and their families? Do your skills include being a great listener, being comfortable talking to strangers, and a desire to serve?

    Phoenix Hospice’s volunteer program is looking for compassionate, caring members of our community who are interested in hospice volunteering.

    Hospice volunteers can perform many tasks:

    • Providing companionship and conversation
    • Share a talent to enrich the lives of patients such as knitting, singing or playing a musical instrument etc.
    • Scrapbook
    • Write letters and/or make phone calls
    • Assist with bereavement care program
    • And much more!

    Volunteers are crucial in support of Phoenix’s mission to provide Hospice services designed to meet the physical, spiritual and emotional needs of our clients and their families facing end-of-life health care needs with dignity, compassion, and continuity of care.
