Low Entropy is a registered charity with a mission to elevate humanity through the power of compassionate, authentic communities. Our programs foster transformational impact by empowering adults, youth, and children through personal growth and meaningful interpersonal connections.

To maintain our growth and continue supporting adults, youth & children, we are looking for volunteers to design new training programs for our volunteers and staff.

About the Position:

The Curriculum Developer provides technical support in designing and developing new online programs for our community. This position also conducts research and analysis as a part of the work in developing the curriculum. The Curriculum Developer works with the volunteer coordinator in producing quality programs that support our community of staff, volunteers and members who are passionate about personal development.

Key Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Develops online effective communication training curricula framework for our community of 400 + volunteers and staff
  • Prepares and creates task-based and student-focused lessons, learning resources and assignments for our online learning platform
  • Creates assessment and evaluation materials that reflect the principles of adult learners

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Experience in online curriculum or course design and implementation
  • Knowledge of current training models, trends, challenges, and opportunities

Job Skills & Abilities:

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to conduct thorough research and synthesize information
  • Ability to work independently and as a part of a team
  • Proficiency in computer skills utilizing software such as Word, Excel, and interactive Internet usage, including communication platforms such as Zoom and G Suite
