Seeking Norfolk County Volunteers to Drive Veterans to Medical Appointments

Norfolk County RSVP Rides for Veterans

Drive local Veterans to and from medical appointments and other necessary trips, using your own vehicle. Supplemental liability insurance and mileage reimbursement (@$.40/mile) provided by RSVP. Flexible scheduling. Drivers self-select rides based on where, when and how often they want to drive veterans to their appointments.

Trips may be local or to a VA Hospital including Jamaica Plain, West Roxbury, or Brockton.

For everybody's safety during the current pandemic, all drivers and riders must wear masks, use hand sanitizer before entering the vehicle and follow other common-sense safety precautions.

Requires MA driver’s license, reliable car and background check.

Norfolk County RSVP is a community service program for volunteers who are 55 and over. We work with over fifty municipal, non-profit and healthcare organizations to recruit and match volunteers with programs that meet community needs.

    Mileage reimbursement is available.
