- Ability to commit to 2-3 hours per week for at least 3 months required.

Remote volunteer ELL teacher/co-teacher
Are you interested in leading a remote ELL class, and supporting adult immigrants and refugees as they improve their ability to speak, listen, read, and write English? Do you enjoy working with people of diverse ethnicities and backgrounds, and working on Zoom? Then this might be the perfect opportunity for you!
Duties:
- Remote teachers/co-teachers work with a coordinator who provides a lesson plan and routine with specific instructions, and coaches them on leading their breakout group.
- Lead and support individuals or small groups through class activities in Zoom breakout rooms.
- Knowledge of Zoom sharing and Google slides recommended.
- Work cooperatively with the coordinator and other volunteers to meet the needs of the learners.
- Work cooperatively with learners of diverse ethnicities and backgrounds.
- Within 6 months of placement, volunteers must complete a 12-hour LitMN-sponsored, and State of MN compliant Foundations Training to be fully prepared to teach.
