We service Lake, Porter, Newton, and Jasper counties providing Hospice care to those in need. We are currently seeking companionship volunteers throughout these counties. We currently have a great need in Portage, Munster, Dyer, and Michigan City. Your unique gifts and talents can bring joy and comfort to patients and families. A listening ear, or a volunteer that can sit with a patient while their caregiver runs to the grocery store means so much to a patient.

Being a Hospice volunteer presents an opportunity to leave a lasting impression on someone's life during their final journey. Hospice patients often grapple with feelings of isolation and loneliness. You have the chance to alleviate some of their emotional burdens.

No experience needed, we will provide you with the training you need to feel confident and comfortable when visiting with patients.

All volunteers must be 18+, and able and willing to pass a background check, and complete a TB test upon starting.
