Through initiatives such as the Global Africa Summit (GAS) series, strategic ecosystem partnerships, and 6Africa platform, AIN works to strengthen economic collaboration, market access, and capital mobilization across sectors and regions.

    Position Overview

To support AIN’s growing regional engagement strategy, we are recruiting five fellows, each serving as a regional focal point for stakeholder engagement and ecosystem development across the North America, West Africa, East Africa, Southern Africa, and North Africa. Fellows will help strengthen regional outreach, partnerships, membership engagement, and visibility within their respective markets and networks.

This role is ideal for a proactive and relationship-oriented individual who is passionate about Africa-focused trade, investment, ecosystem development, and global partnerships.

The fellow will support efforts to:

    • Grow and strengthen AIN membership engagement
    • Support outreach to external stakeholders and strategic partners
    • Expand AIN’s presence within trade, investment, entrepreneurship, and diaspora ecosystems

    Key Responsibilities

    • Assist with member onboarding, communications, and engagement activities
    • Help identify opportunities to strengthen member participation and ecosystem collaboration
    • Support engagement with entrepreneurs, investors, professionals, institutions, and diaspora stakeholders

    External Stakeholder Engagement

    • Research and support outreach to potential partners, sponsors, institutions, chambers, universities, corporations, and ecosystem organizations
    • Help coordinate stakeholder communications and relationship management activities
    • Support follow-up and engagement tracking with strategic contacts and partners
    • Assist with maintaining stakeholder and partnership databases

    Visibility & Ecosystem Development

    • Support initiatives that increase AIN’s visibility within the trade, investment, and economic development ecosystem
    • Help identify opportunities for strategic partnerships, speaking engagements, collaborations, and ecosystem participation
    • Assist with promoting AIN programs, events, and membership opportunities

    Program & Event Support

    • Support member engagement activities connected to the Global Africa Summit series, networking events, webinars, and ecosystem convenings
    • Assist with outreach campaigns, invitations, and participant engagement efforts
    • Help coordinate stakeholder engagement before and after events

    Qualifications

    • Student, recent graduate, or early-career professional in business, communications, international affairs, marketing, public policy, economics, or related fields
    • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
    • Interest in relationship-building, ecosystem engagement, and strategic partnerships
    • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
    • Passion for Africa-focused trade, investment, entrepreneurship, and global engagement

    Preferred:

    • Experience in outreach, partnerships, membership engagement, business development, or communications
    • Familiarity with LinkedIn outreach, CRM systems, or stakeholder engagement tools
    • Interest in ecosystem development and global economic collaboration
