Experience Charity Tour Trek and Volunteering in Nepal

Volunteer World Nepal offers unique volunteering and adventure opportunities for individuals, couples, groups, students and experts, as well as senior and youth professionals from all over the world to make a contribution to Nepali society. At the same time, you will experience the rich culture, natural splendour and daily life of Nepal, one of the most beautiful countries in the world.

Volunteer World Nepal has designed a summer break program in Nepal which will commence with a small, but interesting, orientation about the culture, history, religion, habits and behaviours of the Nepalese people. You will also be taken to the most popular Hindu temple Pashupatinath, one of the Largest Buddhist stupas – Boudhanath stupa, world heritage site Swyambhunath (Monkey temple) so we Volunteer Society Nepal designed the suitable program itinerary according to your summer break schedule and wish.

Sign up for our Volunteer and Tour – Experience Nepal Program!

Join Volunteer World Nepal for a three or four weeks Volunteer and Tour Experience! Our program gives you an opportunity to volunteer in one of our projects and explore three different regions of the country.

This trip will allow you to discover as much as possible about Nepal while giving back to the local Nepali communities around you

You can start the program any time you want. You can apply here.

Where will you be going?

The tour starts in the Kathmandu Valley, with its UNESCO World Cultural Heritage Site cities of Kathmandu, Patan and Bhaktapur. It then takes you south to Chitwan to explore a National Wildlife Jungle Park famed for its unique wildlife you can spot, such as rhinos, elephants and maybe even tigers! From there the journey heads north to the fantastic lake and mountain city of Pokhara.

Your cultural journey through Nepal is enriched by opportunities to volunteer at one of Volunteer Society Nepal’s projects across the country:

  • Teaching English, sports, or IT at one of our monasteries
  • Teaching English, sports, or IT in schools
  • Being a homework guide and activity organizer at a childcare centre
  • Helping children with intellectual disabilities at its care centre
  • Work with women’s groups, teach English or give workshops, organize movie afternoons, etc.
  • Take part in small construction projects
  • Work in an elderly people’s home

This three or four-week program has been designed for persons seeking a unique holiday that combines volunteering, cultural engagement, and sightseeing in the mountains and jungles of Nepal.
