Spring Work Party at Portland Audubon

Join us for a Sanctuary Work party on President's Day! 1:00-3:00 pm, Monday February 21 at Portland Audubon- 5151 NW Cornell Road.

With the ground wet and soft, and the native plants dormant for the winter, it is a perfect time to remove invasive plants from our Sanctuary! This is an outdoor work party which is physically demanding. Participants will walk on uneven ground, use hand tools, bend, pull, lift and carry up to 20 pounds.

Dress for the weather and bring work gloves if you have them. KN95 masks required for our group gathering, and they may be removed if volunteers are more than 6' from others. We have snacks, hot drinks, extra KN95s and work gloves to share.
