What is it?
The Regional Account Authorizer (RAA) role implements the Financial Controls for Direct
Client Assistance function 1: Management of user accounts and permissions for the Client
Assistance System (CAS 2.0), to ensure only authorized users have access to CAS and that
authorization is provided in a compliant standardized and timely manner. Interested in
supporting the delivery of services to clients affected by disaster and ensuring that the workforce
has the systems access needed to provide quality services.
Requirements
The individual appointed to this role will be responsible for:
1. Authorizing new CAS 2.0 users
2. Authorizing changes to user role
3. Authorizing changes to user portal access
4. Authorizing closure of accounts for the region
Ensure at least one RAA available at all times to process account requests
Submit requests to IT for user access changes after user has completed standard
required training for that role
Ensure submitted requests are compliant with the current identified user roles and
identified duties of the CAS user
Track submissions to ensure timely process of requests, answer user questions about
registration procedures
Perform CAS Permissions Reports in CAS at least monthly
Conduct analysis of the CAS Permissions Report to ensure program compliance
Share analysis and the report to Regional Executive or Regional Executive's designee
Submit approved account changes to IT.
