    Description

    VIRTUAL ROLE

    County: Santa Clara, San Mateo, Santa Cruz, Monterey

    Position Purpose:

    Utilizes reports and Volunteer Connection volunteer management system to identify and assign local available disaster responders that are needed for either local or national disaster responses.

    Time Commitment/Requirements:

    • 1 on-call shift/week (8-hour shift).​

    • Can be virtual and in-person. ​

    • Must be comfortable working with computers and talking with people on the phone. ​

    • Not recommended for those with a short time period for commitment (e.g. on summer break or on a short sabbatical).
