    Description

    Fundraising and Development Committee Member

    Ohio Animal Foundation is seeking volunteers to serve on our Fundraising and Development Committee. This committee is responsible for leading the fundraising and development initiatives of the organization, including supporting existing fundraising events (Beat the Winter Blues Auction for the Animals and Celebrating Life with Animals summer photo contest) as well as assisting in identifying new fundraising avenues/events and sponsorship prospects. The target amount for this group is to raise is between $5,000-$10,000.

    Activities include:

    • Requesting item donations for our annual auction
    • Brainstorming potential organizational sponsors
    • Seeking sponsorship support from businesses
    • Assisting with development of fundraising materials
    • Assisting with setting up fundraisers in the community/restaurants/etc.
    • Occasional community tabling opportunities
    • This is a great opportunity for an outgoing individual who enjoys working with others and meeting new people!
    • Meetings are held monthly via Zoom or Teams.
