    Description

Do you sew? Sew with a group? How about using your sewing talent to sew busy blankets or hand carrots or afghans or prayer shawls or clothing protectors or mobius strips (seriously)? You can also knit or crochet hats and gloves for residents who have a hard time staying warm.

We’ll provide you with patterns, and you’ll make a positive difference in the lives of patients! Busy blankets help soothe those with Alzheimer’s or dementia. Hand carrots help those with painful contractures in their hands. Afghans and shawls remind patients that someone loves them enough to create a beautiful and functional piece for them.

Contact CJ Pharr for more information and please share this with any sew-and-sew you know. 720-390-1276 or cpharr@coloradophc.com
