Educate. Radiate. Elevate. is looking for a volunteer to assist us with researching and establishing a long-term affiliation with another organization. This will likely involve E.R.E.’s being acquired by or merged into another organization, including potentially a non-profit, corporation, or foundation. Your role would be to help us identify and connect with potential affiliation partners.
We are looking for a dedicated volunteer with the following qualifications:
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Experience in sales (e.g., sales pipeline management, lead outreach, and networking)
Passion for education, equity, and community service
General understanding of Nonprofit Management, Marketing, or M&A processes (not required but a plus)
About Us:
E.R.E. is a nonprofit operating in IL and TX that was formed during the pandemic to address the widening achievement gap due to school closures. Our purpose is to strengthen the educational achievement of underserved students by providing them with high-quality instruction from experienced tutors who will assist them with academics, enrichment, and test prep, as well as essential learning and life skills. Our mission is to minimize the disproportionate learning losses for low-income students to provide economic, social, and emotional stability for the youth served, their families, and their communities.
What you’ll do:
Study organization information to understand project goals and align with lead criteria.
Identify potential partner organizations that align with E.R.E.’s mission and objectives.
Research key contacts within targeted organizations, maintain notes, and develop an effective outreach strategy.
Assist in creating outreach materials as needed to support communication efforts.
Cultivate and maintain relationships using customer persona insights and sales cycle principles.
You will be supported by the Board of Directors and work in collaboration with our Consultants
Volunteer approximately 7-15 hours per month for all of 2025-2026
