9/11 Day of Service and Remembrance Cardmaking Programs

DOROT invites volunteers of all ages to join us in expressing gratitude and appreciation to our nation’s veterans for their service. Even as we face an unprecedented health crisis, we can come together with other Americans to honor 9/11 and commemorate the tragedy through volunteer service. Make cards for veterans that offer reflection, thanks and heartfelt wishes for a better tomorrow. We welcome cards from across the country and from individual volunteers and community groups.

To join us for an upcoming Zoom Cardmaking Program, please register via Zoom by clicking the corresponding link below. These cardmaking sessions will be open to individuals and groups.

Tues., Aug 25 – 3:30pm

Wed., Aug. 26 – 2pm

Wed., Aug. 26 – 5:30pm

Mon., Aug. 31 – 12pm

Thurs., Sept. 3 – 5pm

DOROT will provide you with the names and addresses of organizations that would like to receive your cards, or you can send your cards to an organization of your choosing. Participants should purchase their own cardmaking supplies in advance. Please click here to view suggested materials.

Individuals and groups are also welcome to create cards on their own, outside of the Zoom Cardmaking Session times, and send them to DOROT. For more information, please click here.
